Cole Waterhouse are delighted to report that our Trafford Wharf planning application was unanimously approved by the Trafford Borough Council Planning Committee on 11th September 2025.

The scheme will deliver 382 homes across two blocks, along with 412 student beds and a generous ground-floor academic learning space for UCFB. This development will revitalise the Trafford Wharfside area and includes large areas of landscaping and attractive, high-quality public realm.

George Smith, Director of Planning and Placemaking said “The unanimous approval by the planning committee represents a significant milestone and the culmination of two years hard work. The whole design team have worked collaboratively with Trafford Council and partners to develop what is set to be a truly fantastic development that will set a further benchmark for quality in the Wharfside area following on from the highly acclaimed  No1 Old Trafford scheme.”
