First Way Campus is a £100m purpose built, 678-bed student campus scheme which also provides academic and flexible work space. It is located close to Wembley stadium, London, and within the heart of the Wembley Park regeneration area.
The project was delivered for UNITE Student Living, with University Campus of Football Business committing to a majority of the student beds as well as the office and learning space.
Planning was secured for the scheme in June 2018, with work starting on-site in September 2018. The final modular units were installed in April 2020 and Practical Completion achieved in January 2021.
First Way Campus, located opposite England’s national football stadium, is a 678-bed student residential scheme with 37,000 sqft of further office space and educational facilities for the University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) that is owned and operated by UNITE Plc.
The 678 student residences consist of a mix of studios, dudios, trudios and 5-bed cluster apartments. UCFB has taken a 10-year nominations agreement on 402 of the student residences.
Accommodation at First Way also includes a student’s union, gym, sports lab, canteen and library for UCFB with student terraces and rooftop pavilions.
There is also a further 25,000 sqft of office space rented to the open market.
When completed, the regeneration in the area will have topped £2.5 billion, producing 4,850 new homes, 650,000 sq ft of offices, two new hotels and a seven-acre public park.
Local leisure offerings include the national football stadium, Wembley Arena, OVO Arena Wembley, Troubadour Theatre, SSE Arena Square and BOXPARK Wembley, a multi-food and beverage operation.
First Way is extremely well connected to Greater London. The overground from Wembley Park Station connects to Marylebone in 14 minutes and is 20–25 minutes from Kings Cross and Euston. The Metropolitan and Jubilee Lines, which connect Wembley to Baker Street in just 12 minutes, serve Wembley Park Station.
