Damian Flood is a founding principal and CEO of Cole Waterhouse with a focus on deal origination and execution. Damian has spearheaded the growth of the company, working in partnership with several large institutions to deliver more than £1.3billion of property development over a 28-year career.
Under his leadership, the company has created two areas of specialism: Logistics and Residential. Cole Waterhouse has secured a number of major developments within each sector with planning permission for over 2,000 apartments across major cities and planning in place for the UK’s largest speculatively built warehouse at 735,000 sq ft.
Rod is a founding principal and COO of Cole Waterhouse focused on deal execution with particular expertise in legal matters.
He practised as a Barrister-at-Law for fifteen years.
He earned a BSc [Hons] in Economics and Politics from Bristol University before studying at the College of Law and the Inns of Court School of Law, London for his Bar finals.
More recently, he completed an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at King’s College, London.
Greg is a founding principal and Executive Director of Cole Waterhouse focused on capital markets financing and transaction structuring.
He has over 30 years of real estate experience covering construction, financing, investing and restructuring.
Greg earned a BS in Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia University where he was elected into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honours society.
He has joint US/UK citizenship.
Brendan is a serial entrepreneur with investments in Private Equity, Technology, Education and Sport.
He began his career in finance with Barclays PLC and has 24 years of experience in retail property development. Brendan is also a member of the Worldwide Organisation of Entrepreneurs.
He is Chairman of the University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) with Campuses at Wembley Stadium – London, the Etihad Stadium – Manchester and the Turf Moor Stadium – Burnley.
Simon is Managing Director of Residential at Cole Waterhouse and has over 16 years’ experience in the construction and property development industry, spanning a broad range of sectors. He has an excellent understanding of the complete development process and what’s required in order to ensure successful delivery. Simon has been responsible for the delivery of a wide array of residential schemes with a particular focus on design, modern construction techniques, sustainability and customer experience.
Simon graduated from the University of Salford with a First Class degree in Property Management & Investment.
As part of the Cole Waterhouse Development Management team, Robert has responsibility for projects from site acquisition, through planning and construction, and finally exit.
He is a major component of our Industrial & Logistics team at Cole Waterhouse, dealing with, amongst other things, the redevelopment of the former Kellingley Colliery at Konect62. Robert also worked on the recently completed Novus Point Development, a 330,000 square foot warehouse development in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
Robert has earned an Msc in Real Estate with First Class Honours, as well as a 2:1 Bsc in Economics with Honours from The University of Newcastle-Upon Tyne.
Emma is an Asset Manager with responsibility for managing properties and sites across the company’s projects using asset management programmes, as well as implementing value add strategies and ESG initiatives, she has experience across multiple sectors predominantly on the client-side, specialising in asset management with a focus on delivering superior returns to investors on large scale portfolios.
Emma graduated from University of Salford with a First Class Degree in BSc Property and Real Estate, as well as gaining PG Certificate at University of Manchester in MSc Real Estate Development.
Stuart Landauer is Finance Manager, responsible for the accounts of Cole Waterhouse and its project companies.
Stuart has worked in accountancy for over 20 years having qualified with ACCA in 2003. Over the past 10 years, Stuart has worked primarily in property related businesses. Between 2012 and 2016, he worked in Perth, Australia for a property development company returning to Manchester in March 2016
Matt is a Management Accountant, responsible for preparing management accounts for Cole Waterhouse and its project companies.
Matt has worked in accountancy for 9 years and qualified with CIMA in 2018. Matt joined the business in 2016 and is an essential member of our finance team, often preparing reports and analysis on current and future sales for Cole Waterhouse projects.
George is a Chartered Town Planner and has led the planning and placemaking at Cole Waterhouse since joining in 2019. Since his work has seen Cole Waterhouse secure planning approvals on developments throughout the UK with a GDV in excess of £500million resulting in being shortlisted for Young Property Professional of the Year in 2022.
He has a range of experience within the private sector advising on large-scale, mixed-use city centre projects in Manchester, Birmingham, London and other major cities.
George graduated from Liverpool University with a First Class Degree in BA Geography and Management before going on to complete an MA in Town Planning at Manchester University.
Conor is part of the team responsible for management and delivery of Cole Waterhouse residential projects. He carries out initial feasibility work for development opportunities and assists schemes through the planning and development process. Finally, he is actively involved in devising and working on exit strategies.
He has a particular interest in studying and understanding the everchanging needs of an urban market and how this process can be facilitated.
Conor graduated from the University of Sheffield where he earned a 2:1 Bsc in Economics and Finance.
Amy is a Commercial Manager who oversees the construction and delivery of the company’s projects across the industrial, logistics and residential sectors.
Amy has worked a significant number of schemes in both the public and private sector from inception to completion. She has experience in new build, refurbishment, remodelling and fit out projects across several sectors and works hard to ensure projects are delivered successfully on time and in budget.
Amy graduated from the University of Salford with a First-Class degree in Quantity Surveying and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Christopher joined Cole Waterhouse as an intern and has become a key member of the development team. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Management and Strategy Consulting at the Institute of Scientific Economics and Management (PGE).
Over the last two years, Chris has gained significant expertise in the early-stage viability, mobilisation and the overall process of bringing development schemes to site. He also assists the development team with the due diligence on both current projects and future opportunities and, plays a crucial role in viability analysis and the development of cash management systems. Holding dual nationality (French and Australian), Christopher has a highly international background, having grown up across Southeast Asia & the Far East.
Charlotte is our Executive Assistant and manages our Manchester office. Charlotte handles the company’s day-to-day operations while providing dedicated support to the Board.
She joined us from London, where she was an EA at a global events company, and brings over six years of Operations & Executive Assistant experience across various industries in London and Sydney. A 2016 graduate of Oxford Media & Business School, Charlotte’s varied background enables her to bring valuable insights and adaptability to her role. Additionally, she holds dual nationality (British and Dutch).
Holly joined Cole Waterhouse as an apprentice, currently completing a Level 3 qualification in Content Creation.
During her apprenticeship she has been involved in producing visual content, along with developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across our social media platforms. Her role involves photography, videography, and graphic design that highlight our schemes, enhancing our online presence and showcasing the quality and lifestyle of our developments.
