We are pleased to announce that Cole Waterhouse, working with Heim Global Investor, has secured £26 million of the £1 billion Greater Manchester Good Growth Fund. This innovative initiative will support 30 new projects aimed at boosting the city region’s economy. There will be three projects in each of the area’s 10 boroughs, with the first wave of schemes expected to deliver nearly 3,000 new homes, 22,000 jobs and two million square feet of employment space. Our waterside Trafford Wharf residential scheme, where planning was secured in September 2025, is the scheme selected.

This funding approval represents a significant endorsement of the project. The Trafford Wharf scheme will bring forward 382 high-quality new homes alongside extensive new public realm, opening up the Trafford waterfront for residents and the wider community. The development will act as a meaningful catalyst for regeneration, helping to initiate a coordinated renewal of this strategically important part of the city.

Cole Waterhouse would like to thank the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Trafford Borough Council, Heim Global Investor and CBRE for their support and contribution towards the application.
