The £72m, 214,000 sq ft development, designed by Jon Matthews Architects sits across two distinctive towers and was built by Domis Construction. Located on the waterfront at Trafford Park, No1 Old Trafford overlooks Manchester United’s Old Trafford football stadium and is just a few metres away from the new Wharfside Metrolink stop.
80% of the 354 apartments have already sold and the scheme’s show apartments, designed by LOFT Interiors, are open for viewings.
The two towers are connected at ground level by a grand central reception area that hosts a number of residential amenities, including a co-working business lounge, cinema room and a private dining facility and laundry rooms. A landscaped podium garden and two residents roof terraces offer views overlooking Salford Quay and the Manchester skyline. Private parking spaces are available as well as an integrated and secure cycle store.
“To complete a scheme of this scale and ambition two months ahead of programme and to budget, particularly with all of the restrictions the industry has faced this year, is an achievement of which we are very proud. Domis has done a superb job and the level of interest in the scheme has been extremely high, from both the local market and investors. We look forward to welcoming all of the new residents that have bought with us and are so eager to move in. We’re also excited by the prospect of having more viewers through our doors as restrictions lift. We expect the remaining apartments to be rapidly taken up.”
“We have thoroughly enjoyed working on this prestigious project for Cole Waterhouse. We were determined to finish within time and to budget and the whole team worked together to make that happen with a fantastic spirit from client, consultants and the supply chain. No1 Old Trafford is a great example of what can be achieved through positive open collaboration.”
